Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow exchanged touchdown passes throughout an intense showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals, which was ultimately decided in overtime by a game-winning field goal.

After a 51-yard run by Derrick Henry placed the Ravens at the Bengals' 6-yard line, Justin Tucker sealed Baltimore’s 41-38 victory with a 24-yard field goal. Tucker also tied the game late in regulation with a 56-yard kick, capping a contest that saw over 700 yards passing and nine touchdown passes.

“It was a shootout, a flat-out shootout in the second half,” said Ravens coach John Harbaugh. “That’s a great win against a team that was playing at a high level.”

The Bengals had a chance to win in overtime, but Evan McPherson missed a 53-yard field goal following a fumbled snap. Baltimore took over at their own 43-yard line, and Henry’s long run set up Tucker’s winning kick. This marked the Ravens' comeback from a 10-point deficit three times in the second half.

Joe Burrow’s 70-yard screen pass to Ja’Marr Chase gave Cincinnati a 38-28 lead with under nine minutes left, but the Ravens responded with a 70-yard drive that culminated in an improbable 6-yard touchdown pass from Jackson to Isaiah Lively. Despite a botched snap, Jackson scrambled and stiff-armed Bengals defender Sam Hubbard before connecting with Lively.

Burrow threw an interception on the next drive, and Cincinnati’s last possession in regulation ended without a score, setting up Tucker’s game-tying kick.

In overtime, Jackson fumbled, giving Cincinnati another chance. However, McPherson’s missed field goal after the fumbled hold gave Baltimore the opportunity to win.

Jackson finished with 348 yards, four touchdowns, and 55 rushing yards. Burrow threw for 392 yards and a career-high five touchdowns, two each to Chase and Tee Higgins. Chase led the Bengals with 10 catches for 193 yards.

Derrick Henry, who had been held in check most of the game, broke out with the key 51-yard run in overtime, helping secure Baltimore’s victory. He finished with 92 yards and a touchdown.

Injury notes included Bengals' cornerback Dax Hill and right tackle Amarius Mims, both of whom left the game, while Ravens tackle Roger Rosengarten briefly exited before returning.

Next up, the Ravens will host the Washington Commanders, while the Bengals travel to face the New York Giants.
