Combs, who has been in New York City since last week, was taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Monday. The arrest stems from an indictment that will be unsealed on Tuesday, as per a statement by Damian Williams, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.


The specifics of the charges are not yet clear, but Combs' legal team has expressed disappointment with the prosecution's decision, calling it "unjust." Marc Agnifilo, Combs' attorney, stated that the music producer has been cooperating with the investigation and voluntarily relocated to New York in anticipation of the charges.
