Hurst Fire
The Hurst Fire started late Tuesday night above Olive View Medical Center and quickly spread toward the 210 Freeway in Sylmar, reaching 100 acres. Evacuations were ordered for areas north of the 210 Freeway between Roxford and the Interstate 5/14 Freeway split.
Lidia Fire
The Lidia Fire broke out Wednesday afternoon near Soledad Canyon Road in the Angeles National Forest. Although smaller than other fires, it remains active, with double-digit containment progress reported.
Woodley Fire
The Woodley Fire ignited near North Woodley Avenue and the Sepulveda Basin early Wednesday morning. Firefighters are working to prevent the fire from crossing Burbank Boulevard and threatening nearby structures.
Riverside County: Tyler Fire
In Riverside County, the Tyler Fire was reported early Wednesday morning south of the 10 Freeway in Coachella. It was contained to 15 acres.
