Mike Lindell's company MyPillow sued by DHL over $800,000 in allegedly unpaid bills

Conservative activist and election denier Mike Lindell is facing new legal trouble, this time with the package delivery company DHL. A lawsuit filed in Minneapolis on Monday alleges that MyPillow, Lindell's company, owes nearly $800,000 in unpaid bills to DHL. The lawsuit claims MyPillow failed to pay for parcel delivery services within the required 15-day window, breaching their contract.

According to court records obtained by USA TODAY, DHL and MyPillow had previously reached a settlement in May 2023. This agreement required MyPillow to pay $775,000 to DHL in 24 monthly installments, beginning in April. However, MyPillow has only paid around $65,000 so far, significantly less than the agreed amount. After notifying MyPillow of the default on July 2, DHL is now seeking the full $800,000, along with interest and attorney fees, which could increase the total amount owed.

This isn't the first time Lindell has faced legal issues. Earlier in 2023, U.S. District Judge John R. Tunheim ordered Lindell to pay $5 million to a software engineer who disproved his claims of Chinese interference in the 2020 election. In another case, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear Lindell’s appeal regarding an FBI seizure of his phone, which was part of an investigation into the sharing of sensitive data from Colorado's voting systems. Additionally, Lindell’s attorneys in various defamation cases requested to withdraw from representing him due to unpaid legal fees.

In the latest lawsuit with DHL, Lindell is representing himself in court.
